History
Nigel has been a hairdresser since deciding a change in career direction when he became bored with studying in college and has never looked back. After having built up a wide experience working in hair salons and attending many courses in London developing his hairdressing skills and management skills Nigel set his sights on doing this in a certain way. He didn’t really want the usual town centre type of salon - relying on a high turnover of walk-in clients simply to cover high city centre rates. He also wanted to avoid having to charge high prices simply for people to experience the luxury of the personal touch from their hairdresser.
When in 1993 on the old Tesco Talbot Green site became available, it seemed to be the perfect place to make his hairdressing salon dreams come true. It certainly offered the scope for building a wide-reaching reputation across Talbot Green and further. When Tesco chose to move, Kudos relocated to Pontyclun at 2 Midland Chambers a former bank that has been converted to luxurious surroundings.
Nigel has built a professional salon team of like-minded staff who like him, have exacting standards and want to deliver exciting hairdressing in an easygoing, relaxed environment. Everyone shares the ethos of being willing to learn and keep on learning, while developing great, communicative relationships with their clients.
